A. Aristotelous is one of the leading construction companies in Cyprus. Having on going multiple construction sites and managing hundreds of employees, the company needed a flexible software solution which would allow them to monitor each project’s progress, by enabling them to zoom in the work produced by each work team and even more by each employee.

That is of course a tedious amount of tasks, to monitor and control, while ensuring that each project was to be delivered on time and on budget. After sitting and planning the software with the management team at A. Aristotelous, we came to the conclusion that this application would end up costing more if we were to plan and design each detail beforehand than putting focus on the project’s deliverables. After all, it is difficult for a construction company that does not possess experience in software development to come up with specific requirements for software development.

Therefore, we spent a significant amount of time looking over their current processes and workflow.We studied their worksheets and production documentation and came up with the basic requirements and main deliverables.

We implemented the basic framework/modules and showed it to the management team. From there on, we took residency in the company’s headquarters and developed the software from there.Whenever there was progress, their team reviewed our work and gave us feedback. Because of the aforementioned methodology and software architecture, we were able to interact with the client, many times modify our code on the spot and show the results instantly.

The application came to be exactly to what they expected. Even more, the design allowed easy integration with their warehouse management system and help them form proposals for new projects by taking statistics from their previous projects.
